The Cosmopolitan, the feminine cocktail par excellence

“Girl power!”. Sex on the City is the series that shows how four independent women can get everything they want. Friends are the family we choose. From Ice Tech, we would like to tell you the personality of the Cosmopolitan, the feminine cocktail par excellence.

Cosmopolitan.

Dry but tasty. That’s the first thing you’ll think of when you try this cocktail which is so personal. The recipe was not invented in the series; its origin goes back to the decade of the 80’s in San Francisco (USA), although it is not so clear who the genius was.

The base of the cocktail is cranberry juice, being the amount to add different depending on the taste of each person.

INGREDIENTS

• 4.5 cl of vodka SKY (the one that comes out in the series)
• 1.5 cl of triple dry (Cointreau)
• 1.5 cl of lime juice
• 20 cl of blueberries juice (although it can be added to taste)
• Chopped Ice Tech ice

To prepare it you will need:

• A cocktail Meter
• A shaker
• A lemon curler for the “twist”
• A Martini glass

PREPARATION

Fill a cocktail shaker to top with chopped Ice Tech ice, introduce all the ingredients and shake them well for a few seconds. Serve it in Martini glass, previously cooled, and we aromatize the edge of the glass with a crust of lime or lemon. Then, add the mixture with the help of the lid.

Finally, decorate it with a twist of lime or lemon. If you want your Cosmo to be the most glamorous one, the best thing to do is to make a skewer with one or two sour cherries and add it.
