This cocktail was said to be created by Harry MacElhone at the end of the First World War, in Paris. They say that the name of the cocktail comes from an army captain who asked for this drink every night in order to fight the cold temperatures. Sidecar cocktail ingredients
- Ice Tech SS Ice
- 30 ml of Brandy
- 20 ml of Cointreau
- 25 ml of lemon juice
- Lemon rind
Sidecar Cocktail preparation
- Pour Ice Tech SS ice, Brandy, Cointreau and lemon juice into the shaker and shake well.
- Strain the mixture in the glass.
- Decorate it with a spiral of lemon rind.
