This article is only suitable for brave adventurers. Go ahead! Diving is quite complicated, we have to be taught about it and we need to know several things before we start. Morrison’s Quarry, Wakefield. Quebec, Canadá
It is the least dangerous one of all, but it is also risky. This activity is about flooding under the Canadian lake and admiring the pictures that appear on the surface from another perspective.
In the beginning it can be claustrophobic, so it is crucial to relax under the ice. You should not worry, because its is highly secure; your body will be surrounded by ropes that reach the outside and that help you to get out or to alert if something happens in the depths so that you can get brought to the surface.
White Sea, Russia
If you love animals, this is your best option. This activity is about swimming with beluga whales. Thanks to these animals, ice is not as hard as it usually is, so water will not be dangerous in this case. The problem is the tour to do in order to get to the diving area. Several kilometres must be crossed on a bike which can cause ice break, a very dangerous possibility.
Therefore, you should do the activity with experts who know how to get around the area and who can help if necessary.
Sassolo Lake, Switzerland
It is a sweet lake where you can dive under water tunnels or ice galleries. It is quite dangerous because you risk that they can collapse at any moment.
Lake Päijänne, Finland
Ice diving wearing bikini. How cold! You can only swim for 3 minutes in a 2°C water before you stop to feel your limbs. Do not exceed the time limit!
Fathom Five National Marine Park, Tobermory. Ontario, Canada
Adventures and history in a single dive. This adventure is about exploring ships in ruins, as in the case of Alice G.
You need to take strong ropes in order to help you out of there by a rescue team.
The danger in this case is the crushed ice, like the rest of ice, it can hurt you. So, if you come across broken ice, dodge it as soon as possible.
El fiordo de Tasiilaq, Groenlandia
And this is the tip of the iceberg, the most dangerous of all places of extreme diving. You will see the iceberg in all its glory! For now, it has been only dived around the iceberg for a fear of its collapse.
After so much adrenaline there is nothing better than relaxing drinking one of our cocktails with Ice Tech ice.
