Filmastic cocktails: Speechless, the King's Speech cocktail

The King’s Speech is one of our favourite movies. Today, we would like to recall the cocktail that bears its name, Speechless. Do you know how it came about? How is it prepared? We’ll explain it to you in our filmastic cocktails section. Do not miss it!

The Speechless cocktail was created in 2011, during the Bafta awards after party. Emma Watson, Minnie Driver, Kevin Spacey… were there.

Dimi Lezinska, the barman master, prepared for the luxury vodka Grey Goose, some drinks inspired by the award-winning films. The guests could taste some cocktails baptized under the name ‘Speechless’ (inspired by ‘The King’s Speech’, The King’s Speech) or ‘Social Status’ (inspired by The Social Network).

The Speechless cocktail is inspired by King George VI reign in the Mid-Twentieth Century. It is a recreation of the classic Martini.
