This Christmas, enjoy a good Frangelico
Appearance, smell, taste. These are some of the characteristics of this typical Italian drink. Christmas are coming, family dinners and meetings with friends. In Ice Tech we will tell you everything you need to know about this liquor and how you can take it.
FRANGELICO.
It is a liquor made from wild hazelnuts roasted and submerged in alcohol along with berries and spices. Its origin lies in Italy, in particular in Piedmont, appearing more than 300 years ago.
The legend.
According to the creator of this liquor, its name was decided due to the legend a hermit called Angelic Friar who created unique recipes and special spirits.
Another of the assumptions is that it is named after a painter from the Dominican Tuscany: Fra Angelico.
Be that as it may, its flavour is more than unique 😉
How to take it.
- Coffee + Frangelico, the best combination.
You will only need 3.75 cl of liquor and a good cup of pure coffee. If you prefer it cold, just add 6 cl of cold milk or a little Ice Tech Ice. Cold or hot, whatever, it will leave you out of breath 😉 .
- Frangelico Mudslid
Ingredients:
- 3 cl of Carolans.
- 2.25 cl of Frangelico.
- 2.25 cl from Vodka Skyy.
- 1.5cl from Illyquore.
- Ice Tech Ice Cubes.
Shake everything well in a shaker and add our Ice Tech ice and.. It’s ready!
- Frangelico Hazelnut Martini.
If you want to impress your guests and add a sophisticated touch to the dinner, this is your recipe. You will need 3 cl of Frangelico and 3 cl of Vodka Skyy. All this, well mixed in a glass with the chocolate border, will leave your guests gaping 😉
