Verona, the city of love
“There is more danger in your eyes than in twenty swords.” Who doesn’t know the romantic, but dramatic story of Romeo and Juliet? Today, 14th February, Valentine’s Day is celebrated, the international lover’s day, and what more love can be breathe than the one in the Italian streets of Verona… We show it to you from Ice Tech.
Verona.
“If you love someone, bring him to Verona.” Shakespeare did not choose this charming city to develop their stories by chance. According to some rumours, this story was written by the vicentine Luigi da Porto in the Sixteenth Century, a great city lover. The work travelled throughout Europe until it reached England, where Shakespeare transformed it into an immortal work, making Verona one of the most loved and visited places in the world.
The Piazza dei Signori market is most the characteristic place to go in Saint Valentine’s Day. Its stalls are placed shaping a heart. There, you can enjoy concerts and, above all, love 😉
We are convinced that you will visit La Casa de Julieta (Juliet’s house). Admission is free only on this date. In addition to the house, a contest is held, the Amada Julieta (loved Juliet), where they reward the most beautiful and romantic love letter of all.
Such is the importance of Valentine’s Day that most restaurants offer promotions such as: “Two hearts at the table”, where they offer aphrodisiac dishes at unique prices. This, together with with a good Ice Tech cocktail, makes dinner a unique moment, right?
And, if this was not enough, the streets join the party: red lamps with heart shape, theatre performances, concerts, flowers, balloons… No details are left!
From Ice Tech we hope that the love you feel on this day is even greater than the one we feel for our beloved ice 😉 Enjoy it!
