Are you on Christmas holidays? After the Ice Hotel, the SnowVillage Snow Hotel arrives in Finland, another of the many frozen hotels around the world that will leave you frozen too. From Ice Tech we would like to tell you all the details of this little ice palace.

SNOWVILLAGE SNOW HOTEL.

It is located in Finland, 200 km above the Polar Circle, exactly 20 minutes by car from Ylläs. You can find ice rooms, restaurants and endless organized activities on it.

The rooms.

They are decorated with furniture made of carved ice and decorations with this material… Do not miss ice!

If you’re a cold-natured, don’t worry. Sleeping bags have fleece lining. And if you sleep, you will not have a problem, as they have a personal wake-up service and free hot drinks. You will only have to ask for it and enjoy your stay. 😉

The bathrooms are shared, located in a nearby underground building. Yes, with heaters.

What to do.

Once you get here, you’ll start working! Guests will participate in a guided tour around the area. Moreover, they will receive some instructions to make the night unique.

In addition to this, the hotel offers organized activities such as ice fishing, sled rides with both dogs and motor and reindeer safaris. It looks like a movie, right?

Where to eat.

As we have mentioned, it has restaurants. The Log Restaurant serves a breakfast buffet and Lapland cuisine for lunch and dinner. Of course, it has a good heating for you to eat in the best conditions.

In addition to this, you can find the Ice Bar & Restaurant located within a 10-meter-high igloo. It offers a varied à la carte menu with local ingredients.

And if this was not enough, inside the hotel there is a sauna that can be booked.

If you travel by car, it also has private and free garage spaces, so your only concern should be to think of yourself.
