In Campania, Naples, Pompeii is a city buried by the great eruption of Vesuvius in 79 BC.
Its conservation is unbeatable, being possible to appreciate its buildings, decorative complements and even the remains of its inhabitants. In fact, it is possible for you to hear the story of the “Pompeii onanist” who revolutionized the whole world.
It was one of the richest cities in all Italy until it first suffered a great earthquake that destroyed the city and years later it was devastated by the volcano, which left just ashes.
This was forgotten until, in the Sixteenth Century again gained prominence and began to be investigated. Since then, more than 45 hectares of land have been unearthed.
