There is no doubt that the San Francisco is a classic among the classics. It is a cocktail based on a lot of juice that contributes to have a smooth and natural flavour.

It is said that in the 70’s a bar owner came in the morning to his establishment, finding a waiter totally drunk, and he excused himself by arguing that he was waiting to create a cocktail that would make him world famous. He quickly created a combo based on juices and grenadine and the truth is that whether it was lie or not, he got a cocktail that became one of the most famous ones.

San Francisco Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 20 ml of orange juice.
  • 20 ml of lemon juice.
  • 20 ml of pineapple juice.
  • 20 ml of peach juice.
  • 15 ml of grenadine.
  • Sugar (optional).
  • 1 lemon, orange or pineapple slice (optional).
  • Ice Tech ice cubes SS.

Preparation:

We recommend frying the edge of the glass with sugar and grenadine. Then, put lots of Ice Tech ice in your favourite glass. Finally, pour the juices and the grenadine. Optionally you can decorate your drink with an orange, lemon or pineapple slice.

You can prepare your San Francisco cocktail with rum, gin, vodka or the drink you like, although the classic San Francisco alcohol recipe is prepared by mixing three parts of dry vermouth, three parts of sweet vermouth, three parts of gin, two choruses of angostura or concentrated lime juice and another two of bitter orange.
