Crotone is the youngest city in one of the youngest countries in history. It appears in 1992, when the southwestern part of Catanzano decides to separate from it and create its own city: Crotone, in Calabria. Discover it with Ice Tech!

Although it became independent in 1992 and it is just 24 years, the history of this city dates back to 710 BC. Nothing more and nothing less than Hercules was the one who established this city to honour his lost friend Crotone.

Romans conquered it, the Byzantine Empire, the Sardinia Kingdom…, among many others. Therefore, it has a great historical interest due to its emblematic buildings: castles, cathedral, archaeological park… Imagine the mixture of styles! A pleasure to behold!

It has more than 27 villages, in addition to the largest sea in the country with 15,000 hectares in Capo Rizzuto.
