The Aletsch Glacier.
Located in Switzerland, it is the largest glacier in the Alps. It has a length of about 23 km and covers a total area of over 120 square meters. Some of the glacier wells have reached more than 30 m of depth.
In order to get there, you have to walk along a path of gravel and rocks polished by the advance of the glacier, which is quite an adventure because it is slippery. In the middle section, you will find a platform that serves as a viewpoint on the glacier and a small lake. The views are amazing!
The Langiökull cave.
Located in Iceland, this cave is impressively beautiful. It is the largest artificial ice cave in the world. It is the same or even more dangerous than the previous one.
It is situated on the second largest glacier in Europe, offering the opportunity to tourists to live inside. In fact, one of the rooms is used for celebrating weddings. It’s a frozen Yes, I do! 😉
Eiskogelhöhle ice cave.
This time we’re going to Austria. It is the highest tourist cave in the Alps and in the whole world. It is located at 2,100 m above the sea level, within Mount Eiskogel. It takes about 12 h to get there and back, but you are guaranteed it is worth it.
Swiss Ice Tunnel.
In the Furka port you can enter a tunnel 100% ice made. With a height of 2.429 m it connects different parts of the country.

The Dobšinská ice cave.
This cave has been considered a UNESCO World Heritage since 2000.
